Hall Farm Wetton

Pets at Hall Farm H0liday Cottages

Pets by arrangement

We do allow dogs (and other small pets) in all our cottages but please note this is by prior arrangement only.
As animal lovers and dog owners ourselves we understand how important it is to have our four-legged friend(s) with us and hope we can accommodate your companions. To enable us to do this, we ask that you follow a few simple house rules to ensure the cottages are looked after for our future guests.

Dogs

At present we only accept small-medium breeds due to the size of the cottages and well-behaved individuals – if your dog barks loudly/persistently or shows aggression towards our own dog or anyone on site, we reserve the right to ask you to take the dog home. Any chewing of furniture, skirting, floors or frames will incur cost of damages.

There is a surcharge for a dog; £20 per weekend and £30 per week (£10 per extra dog in each cottage). This is to cover the extra cost of and time spent cleaning, and additional laundry of towels/ blankets provided. This should be paid on arrival by cash, cheque or bank transfer (ask for details).

We ask that you abide by a few simple rules:
  • Please do not leave your pet unattended in the cottages.
  • Please ensure your pet does not go upstairs.
  • Please use the blankets/throws provided to protect furniture.
  • Please keep dogs on a lead when outside the property in the interest of other guests, our poultry and our own dogs.
  • Please clean up after your dog – we have an endless supply of poo bags if you run out.
  • Please respect the wishes and livelihood of local farmers by keeping your dog on a lead around livestock, however well trained you believe them to be.
We will provide you with towels to wipe your dog’s muddy paws after long walks.
Please don’t use guest towels for this. There is a hosepipe outside the laundry should you wish to give you a pooch a wash. We know of lots of doggy friendly walks in the area and can give you some guidance on doggy friendly pubs and restaurants.
