Hall Farm Holiday Cottages, Wetton - Terms and Conditions

Bookings
A contract between you and the owners of Hall Farm will come into existence when payment is received and a booking confirmation is issued showing the confirmed holiday dates. The contract binds you & all the members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms & conditions of booking. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract & loss of the booking.

Reservations
A non refundable deposit of 25% is required to confirm your booking. The deposit secures your booking with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. If your booking is within 6 weeks the full amount is payable at the time of booking. Written confirmation will be forwarded by post or email on receipt of your booking deposit.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellations made within 6 weeks of the start date, the total cost of your holiday is payable. If we are able to re-let we will refund the holiday cost minus any difference in the price received.

Non availability
If the property becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. fire, all monies paid for that period will be fully reimbursed. The Hirer shall have no further claim against the Owner.
No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, water, internet connection or television service.

Damage and Breakages
Please treat our cottages with due care so that other guests can continue to do so in future. All breakages must be reported and will be charged for if deemed appropriate. Any damage to the property will also have to be paid for. Guests are expected to take care of the property and to leave it clean and tidy.
We reserve the right to recover costs for cleaning if the cottage has been left in an unacceptable state e.g. cleaning carpets, soft furnishings.
Please note that if any keys issued are not returned at the end of your stay, then the cost of replacement will be charged to you

Pets
At present we only accept small-medium breeds due to the size of the cottages. Dogs must always be kept under close control; failure to acknowledge house rules, or if your dog barks loudly/persistently or shows aggression towards our own dog or anyone on site, we reserve the right to ask you to take the dog home. Any chewing or scratching of furniture, skirting, floors or frames will incur cost of damages. Dogs should not be left unattended in the cottages and are to be kept downstairs at all times. There is a surcharge for each dog, payable on arrival; £20 per weekend and £30 per week to cover the cost of additional cleaning..

Communal facilities
Playbarn – Please ensure young children are supervised at all times. Please report any damages or broken items. We reserve the right to charge for any significant damages. Please leave the playbarn as you found it, if it was in an unacceptable state on your arrival please do make us aware so this can be rectified. 
Outdoor Space - Please ensure any damage to play equipment is reported. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm in interest of our other guests.

Barbecue – please use the designated barbecue utensils and clean the barbecue after use.

Outdoor play facilities – Please report any items unfit for use and please ensure children are supervised at all times. 

Visitors
The cottages and other facilities are for the use of paying guests only. Any additional visitors to the cottages must be agreed in advance by the owners.

Arrival and departure
Your cottage will be available from 4.00 p.m. on the day of arrival.
Please vacate by 10.00 a.m. unless later departure has been agreed in advance.

Liability
Cars and their contents are parked entirely at the owners’ risk. We cannot accept any liabilities for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions. Guests are responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times. Never leave children without adult supervision.

CCTV
We have two CCTV cameras on site one located on our playbarn and one located on the front our our house (the farmhouse). These are motion detected and only pick up motion in the car park area and the entrance to our drive. No other areas are covered by CCTV. This is for the security of ourselves, our guests and property.
